The annual Maple Grove Days celebration is almost here! As a proud member of the Maple Grove community, we’re excited to participate in this fun-packed celebration July 11 through 15!
Voyage Healthcare will be at the Maple Grove Community Center from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 14. Stop by our booth to say hi and meet members of our healthcare team!

Dates
Maple Grove Days starts Wednesday, July 11, and runs through Sunday, July 15. With a packed schedule of events, there’s sure to be something for everyone!
Location
There will be quite a few events at various locations throughout the city. Check this list to see where all the events will take place.
Shuttle Bus
The free shuttle bus will run Saturday, July 14 from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm.
The four pickup locations will be 1) the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes, 2) the intersection of Main Street and Arbor Lakes Parkway, 3) Vinewood Lane between Grove Drive and Weaver Lake Road, and 4) Main Street at Lakeview Drive.
Parking is available at the Maple Grove Transit Station.

Sports and Wellness Activities
As healthcare providers, we’re especially excited to see the number of sports and wellness activities offered at Maple Grove Days this year.
Love competitive sports? Don’t miss the tennis tournament, pickleball tournament, sand volleyball tournament, or teen capture the flag!
The 3.7 mile Jim Dean Memorial Rice Lake Classic Run, one of the most popular Maple Grove Days events, will be held on Saturday, July 14. For 5-12 year-olds, check out the 0.8 mile Kids Fun Run.

Kid-Friendly Events
For babies who can walk or crawl and are still wearing diapers, there’s the Diaper Derby from 6:30-7:00 pm on Friday, July 13. Cheer your baby or toddler on as they crawl, scoot, toddle, or run towards the finish line!
Wear sunglasses to get a reduced $2 entry to Cool Ray Open Skate at the Maple Grove Community Center, Friday July 13 from 7:15 – 8:45 pm.
Or simply stop by Saturday, July 14 10:00 am – 4:00 pm for Kids Fun Galore, with activities sure to please your 3 to 10 year old. Saturday is also the day for pony rides and the petting zoo.
Seniors
Join Maple Grove’s Duplicate Bridge Club for a Duplicate Bridge Tournament on Wednesday, July 11 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Invite your friends, too – since registration dollars will be used as prizes, award money depends on the number of pairs and teams that register.
Those who grew up square dancing will be sure to enjoy the Maple Grove Square Dance Club’s event on Saturday, July 14 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. But even if you’re new to the tradition, stop by to watch or learn the basic steps! The event is open to all ages, so bring the kids or grandkids along too.
Music
The Sounds of Summer concert kicks off the music schedule at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 11.
Bringing young kids? Check out Tricia and the Toonies, tentatively scheduled for Thursday, July 11 at 10:30 am on the town green.
On Saturday, July 14, come hear the winner of the 2018 teen Battle of the Bands contest from 2:00 to 2:30 pm! Wrap up the evening with jazz and swing standards by 7 Cats Swing from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.
Parade and Other Displays
The Parade will be held Thursday, July 12 from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. Watch for our float with staff and providers walking along!
The Classic Car Show will take place Saturday, July 14 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm..
A free fireworks display will be launched from the south shore of the West Arbor Lakes area (behind the Maple Grove Community Center) beginning at dusk Saturday evening, July 14.
Movie Under the Stars
Don’t miss the opportunity to see 2017’s animated hit COCO under the star on Friday at 9 pm! Winning the 2018 Oscar for Best Animated Feature, the film “makes sense of bereavement with a hopeful, healing celebration of life,” says The Telegraph.
